2/6/06- Tyler Update #4

Tyler responded positively to the shunt procedure, enough so that they have completed the MRI mask fitting for radition therapy and plan on moving him back to St. Jude's today. We're not sure if they will begin radiation today or not, but will give an update as soon as we can. Continue to pray for Tyler and the Scott family.

Dear Howard, Dana, and Tyler,

We love you. Alison came home on Wed, and wanted to paint. She painted a picture, brought it to me, and said, this is for Mr. Scott. He needs it! So, I have sent it to you. May it be a reminder of how many lives you have touched, and how many people are here to support you on this journey.

When I came home and read the news you had responded to the shunt, I was so very happy and thankful. You stay strong and remember that everyone has you in their heart. Your Mom and Dad too!!!!!

I just want you to know that my sister (Kathy Poston) lives in Memphis and wants to do anything she can (she's that kind of person) for you or any of your family. I believe your friend Kathy gave you her home and cell number. She can pick you up, lend you an extra car they have, have you over, take you to church, or just sit with you at the hospital - anything at all. She knows Memphis well and can help you with any questions you or your family might have. She is so hoping you will contact her so that she can be of some help. Our family has been praying for you here in Charlotte also.

There's a song getting quite a bit of playtime on Christian radio these days called "Cry Out to Jesus." The chorus has been in my head all day:

There is HOPE FOR THE HELPLESS
REST FOR THE WEARY
Love for the broken heart
There is grace and forgiveness
Mercy and HEALING
He'll meet you wherever you are
Cry out to Jesus
CRY OUT TO JESUS

Just want you to know that I'm crying out to Jesus on your behalf - along with many others. The staff of Sharon Baptist Weekday School gathers for prayer each morning before carpool and you are all being lifted up.
