I cannot imagine how difficult this trial is for you all. However, I know something about facing difficulties with insurmountable odds. I've been bedridden since birth with spinal muscular atrophy. The doctors informed my parents, that I wouldn't live to see my sixth birthday. By the grace of God, I'll be fifty in August 2006.
I don't know how I would have survived over these fifty years, with all the difficulties associated with my illness, without having an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. His Word has brought me great comfort and hope, especially as I consider my departure from this world.
I want to encourage you to draw close to Christ by reading His Word (the Bible) and through prayer. I'm confident that if you'll call upon Him to comfort you, that He will do so abundantly.

Pops went to your bothers basketball games today and both played really great (as usual). Through 4 periods of Bryce's game only 2 points wer scored and guess who did it! Bryce!!!
Chase played great defense and had some really good scoring opprtunites.

Dear Howard, Dana and Tyler,
I cannot imagine how difficult this trial is for you all. However, I know something about facing difficulties with insurmountable odds. I've been bedridden since birth with spinal muscular atrophy. The doctors informed my parents, that I wouldn't live to see my sixth birthday. By the grace of God, I'll be fifty in August 2006.
I don't know how I would have survived over these fifty years, with all the difficulties associated with my illness, without having an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. His Word has brought me great comfort and hope, especially as I consider my departure from this world.
I want to encourage you to draw close to Christ by reading His Word (the Bible) and through prayer. I'm confident that if you'll call upon Him to comfort you, that He will do so abundantly.
He has turned my mourning into laughter and my desolation into joy. He has made my heart rejoice with 'an inexpressible and glorious joy' (1 Peter 1:8). When I struggled to escape from his grace, he drew me to himself. I bear witness that never servant had such a master as I have, never brother such a kinsman, never spouse such a husband. No sinner ever had a better Saviour than Jesus, no mourner a better comforter. I want none beside him. In life he is my life, and in death he shall be the death of death. In poverty, he is my riches, in sickness my health, in darkness my sun. Jesus is to me all grace and no wrath, all truth and no falsehood: and of truth and grace he is full, infinitely full.

My Aunt called me this morning while I was at work to tell me he passed. It was so sudden I couldn't believe it! All I could think about was my cousin's birthday party a year ago and how Tyler wouldn't leave my lap! He is the sweetest kid I've ever known! I am praying for all of you.
