The other day when I was playing with Aidan, I had to snap myself out of it because I felt like I was playing with Ty. I remember how Ty used to pretend he was asleep and he would fake snore and I'd pretend I thought he was really asleep and put a towel on him as his blanket and then tickle him and he'd start laughin and say he got me. hahah Ty was so funny and cute. And when Aidan was pretending the towel was his blanket at the pool the other day and wanted me to cover him with it and he started to snore.. Tons of memories of Ty at the pool made me smile. He was such a cutie!!! And boy, did he loveeeee the pool!
Thinking of you and praying for you always!!!

To Howard, Dana, Chase, Bryce, and Aidan...

My thoughts are with you all today. I love and miss you. Bryce - sorry about your game buddy, but you had an INCREDIBLE season and I am VERY proud of you!!! Chase - good luck with swim team this summer. Your daddy said that you have been doing great and were asked to join the year-round team - that's great! Aidan - I hear you are doing great too and staying so busy that you pass out on the floor in your room before bath time!

I love you guys...see you soon.

dear scott family,

we just wanted you to know that we are thinking of you today and tyler and you all are in our prayers every night. i am continually amazed at the faith that children show. a few days ago after the graduation, tylers classmates were in the courtyard gathered around the tree where they had let their balloons go. one had gotten stuck in the tree that day and it had really bothered some of them that those thoughts might not make it up to heaven. well, as they gathered around that tree after graduation ty noticed that the balloon was gone and with great excitement and amazement all of the boys standing there ran to get all of their classmates to come and see. as they looked to the heavens, one after another they began to say "i knew tyler was watching" "i knew he would get our thoughts" and then began to share stories and comments about their friend. he was on all of their minds that day and is in their hearts every day.
love, ty, mary, andy and ella vendal

Hey Scott family,
i see you almost everyday now at practice. Aidan you did great swimming with me and the reagan and the Ya Ya's yesterday. Thanks for helping me with the kickboards. By the way you looked like a real swimmer with the swim cap and goggles. Bryce you did great at practice yesterday too. Man you almost caught me when we were racing! Chase your at school right now, but you looked good in your pink shirt handing out the graduation handouts. You and Josh matched with pink shirts. Man i can't wait to see you all tonight and have a blast.
This summer is so different without tyler. It is really different without him stuck to my hip, holding my hand, swimming with me. But you all have a piece of him in you and that helps me so much. Aidan you kicking on your back and us running into the wall, i remember doing that last year with Ty. Bryce your strong will to win an arguement and to win is just like Ty. Chase your kind heart, always dressing to look your best, and your smile is something you and Tyler had in common.
You all are doing so well, i know it is tough, but you support each other and you all help me so much.
I love you all so much and i love watching you grow up and take life as it comes.
see you tonight and this afternoon.
love,
jessie laney

Hey Scotts,
So I just cried when I read those comments. My eyes water up everytime I hear about Ty. But not just tears of sadness, but tears of joy knowing Ty's an angel. I miss him so much and I know not a second goes by that Ty's not on your mind, because not even a day can slip by without me thinking about him. You have such a strong, amazing family! You guys are all so awesome and if there was an award for America's Cutest Family, you guys would win in a heartbeat! My grandpa was just diagnosed with Cancer, and we had a talk the other night when he came by before he left for radiation at Chapel Hill and he knows about your family and Tyler and he said that he knows he doesn't have much longer to live, even though he seems healthy. He promised me that when he gets to heaven, he'll let me know Ty's safe and happy. I hope you know that everyone in the neighborhood loves you so much and there's nothing we wouldn't do for your family. I hope your summer is going good so far.. I leave for the beach with a bunch of my friends Sunday morning so I better finish packing, It's like realllllllllyyy late but I hadn't checked Ty's site all weekend and I wanted to see if there were any new updates!! I'll be praying for you tonight when I say my goodnight to Tyler. Love you so so much!! See you @ the pool tomorrow I'm sure!
a million hugs and kisses!!
